..it's a difficult one but it is amazing how certain layers are more injury prone. I wonder if it is also something to do with being a bit 'awkward' in both the timing and way a player challenges. Also not having a sound judgement of knowing what to do and when.

I think Phil Jones is an example of this and he is another who spends time out with injuries. I don't think it's totally down to bad luck.
But then you have someone like Van Persie who clearly is incredibly coordinated but has suffered a lot of long term injuries.

Some players bodies aren't cut out for elite level sport.

If he dropped a few levels he wouldn't have half as any issues.

I'm not disputing he's injury prone. However, I normally associate injury proneness with muscular injuries, and not broken bones.

He's clearly taken a hefty whack, so I wouldn't class this injury as being anything other than unfortunate.
I bet it was Barry

We've played as many games this season as 'Ol Sicknote has been available for in 3 1/2 years.

On the main site, Roberto says "The performances in #EFC's final seven games of the season will help influence summer activity"

Goodbye Gibbo. Don't get injured on the way out.

We have a shed load of sick notes and useless players, martinez needs to get a grip of the situation, he bought them here the useless cart.

This summer should feel like a time to shed some old skin and be reborn as the glorious club we could possibly become...

Or just muddle through and pretend that 35 year old numpties will see us to a Champs League spot.

Didn't bring Gibson, Distin, Pienaar or Howard here like...
Moyes left him an aging squad that needed fresh new blood brought in.
Its a process that is going to take some time.
He is still a useless cart in my opinion, giving contract extensions to players that are past it, could do with a clear out starting with him.

There's a thing called a squad.
Hence contract extensions for Osman and Hibbert who actually when called on are able to contribute to the team and are long standing senior players within the dressing room.
As for Howard's extension, if you'd told me start of this season he was past it I and many others would have laughed at you.
I see Alcaraz and Kone as his slip ups. Kone was always going to be a gamble with his past history, although i can see the logic in signing a player that fits the style of play and has performed for you in the past.
Likewise Alcaraz has done ok as a 4th choice CB but has also let the team down in critical moments.
McGeady cost pennies.

Hugely significant window to see whether he can continue to bring in young players of the quality of Lukaku, Besic and Macca and build this promising young side.
Young wingers of quality needed.

What is it then, Mr. B?

Some Witch Queen in New Orleans sticking pins in a voodoo doll effigy of Gibbo or sommat?

I was just having some harmless fun. I knew I shouldn't meddle in powers I don't understand. Sorry Gibbo.
