That's how I'd be lining up with no injuries. There's also a good bench to be made there. Still need to add a couple. CF and would like pienaar for when Donovan goes back.

I like it.

CHRISTIFFA IN FFS!

(Vellios in for Saha though)

I don't get why people are still ****ging him off. We're proper skint, so it's not like we can shop at Harrod's or anything.

Personally, I think this is a pretty astute buy from Moyes. Gibson is an experienced prem midfielder, and an international. For £500k, £1 million, or whatever it was we spent on him, you can't do too much better. We NEED central midfielders badly, especially with Barkley and Rodwell being injured.

Gibson was also very highly rated at United coming through the ranks, and for a reason. I think getting regular games under us will make all the difference for him. He's not as bad as people say he is. At the very least he is another body. Personally, I don't think anyone can complain about this given the circumstances of our club. Just give him a chance lads!

-The Guardian are reporting £500k fee. I'm happy with that, especially when you compare it to how much we were going to pay for the young Irish striker.
-Rooney, Cahill and Neville persuaded him to sign.
-Everton showed interest a month ago.
-His goalscoring record is actually better than his Wikipedia listing suggests: 3 in 14 league starts for United, 2 in 6 FA Cup starts, 3 in 10 Carling Cup starts and 2 in 7 starts in other competitions.
-Perhaps he's seen as Cahill's eventual successor?

Love the fact he had to be "persuaded"

I'm pretty sure that once he pulls on the shirt and actually plays every single one of us will support him and hope he does well, regardless of how ****e they think he is or what they write on the internet.

you can seek all these "negative things like that" or just be happy or even just a little bit glad that we got him.
negativity is like a virus in penis ffs, it eats your soul

Im not being negative...Im just being realistic. Especially when its got fans excited about him turning up, hoping he's gonna be the one that got away from Fergie.

I like the price and Im glad he's signed. But for any other club, this/him etc is just a bread and butter signing. To us, its like we've dropped on gold no one else has just because we've spent a few bob.

Happens a lot when players turn up here. Castillo, Straq, McFadden...there's always optimism.
