Think Louis Saha was actually really good for us, scored the fastest goal in a cup final and was part of the side that was the closest to winning anything since 1995. I will always remember the 1-3 at West Ham November 08, it was a dire first half and West ham scored after about an hour. Then Lescott equalised and Saha scored 2 more in 2 minutes to make it 3. For about half an hour the west ham player couldn't get anywhere near Saha

I'd like us to somehow get a proven striker to start for us and then use welbeck and DCL sparingly.

Danny Welbeck isnt a proven striker though, he's a proven injury liability if anything. Probably too old for a Brands signing now anyway.
