Aye I was so excited when we bought him. Was a big fee if I remember right. Always wanted him to come good but he never did. Our fondness for him is pretty mad.

Not the greatest to have played for Everton, but he will be remembered more than most simply because of that semi final.
Added to that is the fact that he just seems so likeable. He just seemed to 'get' Everton from the minute he signed.
