With these large dogs I could kind of understand if you lived in the wilds,wolves,bears etc and you had a farm,why some lid in a Northface on Breck needs a beast bred to fight bears I dont know

Personally I think they should ban the breeding of certain dogs. I wouldn’t put them to sleep, just let them die out naturally. I don’t go along with this ‘I've had a staffy for 10 years and he’s dead soft’ he’s not dead soft, he’s a potential child killer given the wrong environment. Who would want that kind of dog anyway.

Staffys are actually the best dogs with kids, not the best with other dogs sometimes but nothing wrong with them with kids, BS post.

Next door but ones Spanish Mastiff for reasons unknown as I walked past not even looking at the dog, squeezed it's way out of his garden and went for my throat. Luckily I got my arm up to block it (which it bit clean through) another neighbour was able to grab it while I got indoors. If he hadn't been there it would have carried on the attack until the obvious outcome. 40+ stiches and a loss of sensation in a part of my right hand. I'm not too fond of dogs now.

Another thing you often notice when people are killed by devil dogs, the dog is called "Killer" or "Psycho" or "Trigger" or such like. That kind of nonsense should be indication enough that the owner isn't fit to keep animals.
