Everton eyeing loan move for Portuguese ace Moutinho | Mail Online
Everton are exploring bringing in Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Moutinho.
Sporting’s £18million valuation of the 22-year-old playmaker proved too high for the Merseyside club in the summer.
But Moutinho, who has won 19 caps for Portugal, believes he could move in the transfer window on loan.

It really is the most pathetic piece of crap.

You can picture it now.

1: "Right, we need an Everton story"
2: "I know, I know, what about that... Mourinho they were after?"
1: "You mean Moutinho?""...
2: "Thats the one. Lets say they are after him again"
1: "But they are skint..."
2: "........"
1: "........"
2: "I've got it!...... a loan move"
1: "Jackpot"

I'm going to get Moutinho on the front of my shirt, the one with manny on the back, Love down one sleeve, and Riquelme down the other.

I did notice that his name hasn't been mentioned at all though - nobody's interested in the ugly little midget... Same situation as M'Bia, thought he was bigger than us, then a few months down the line it's 'bugger, should've gone'...

Worst story ever...They wouldnt sell him because of a disagreement over about £1 million, but there are happy to loan their best player (other than Veloso) out.

Sure. They're top of the Portuguese league on goal difference, and through to the last 16 of the Champions league and they come up with a wizard wheeze to make money by sending their best player to another cash strapped team that isn't competing for any silverware and the player himself is well up for it.

I mean I don't blame journalists for writing this kind of fantasy - they're paid to write what they're told to write. I don't even blame editors for demanding that they write it - they're paid to ensure people buy the paper.
It's the sad f*cks that pay money to read it that should be put to death.
