one of the more stupid threads started on here in quite some time....and that says a lot.
All depends what happens in the summer. You could have asked the same question about Sunderland last season, who had just scraped promotion via a comeback in the play-offs, and thought no way they'll trump us over a season.
Roll on a couple of months and they're starting the season with a midfield pairing of Xhaka and Diarra, plus some other excellent signings, and come the end of the season winning a six-pointer against us at our home for a European place.
Football is quite simple really, recruit well and have a manager/coaches who are tactically astute and able to make whatever players they have increasingly better and play with confidence.
Short answer is - I wouldn't have thought Hull would finish above us as of now - but if we continue to be complacent and fail to match the ambition at all levels of the club of others, then they most definitely could.
