Current Body of work - Ancelotti and Moyes

Have you looked at who West Ham have played in recent games and who they play over the next number of games. We will get a better idea of what they are capable of in about seven or eight games.

At Goodison they took the points from us in what was another poor Everton display but if anything Fulham and Newcastle were better against us.

I would not rush to judgement on West Ham just yet.

But, David Moyes was always at his best in this type of situation, his problem was trying to get a team to a higher level.

Easy one that mate.
Look at the financials , and his actual spend. Try and name , any managers that could have consistently delivered the level of league placings that he did , at this or any other club . Any idiot can fluke a cup run now and then. But consistent league runs without a pot to **** in , were unbelievable.
That’s not success.

Success is measured in trophies, for which he won none.

Steadied a sinking ship, did wonders with a paper thin squad and very little money, got in Europe a few times and a fa cup final. Last 5 years we’ve burnt a ton of money and had 1 embarrassing attempt in the europa league. Moyes deserves credit for what he did back when we’re skint, we’ve tried to step up and be a bigger side with the cash injections the last few seasons but we haven’t achieved nothing more than than what the messiah did with a tiny squad
Hi Lloyd, please show me the trophies he won in your working out. Trophies define success

Before I start this , I know that I am going to get absolute hell.
I need to clarify , that I believe that Carlo is our only chance to get to the "next" level , and that we will do that eventually , with the backing of the current ownership.
However , this season , despite our FFP handicap due to previous mismanagement , all sorts of teams are in the mix. Perhaps this is something to do with the pandemic , and no fans in grounds ?
We have many players who should be able to take us forwards towards where we believe we should be.
Tonight's performance was yet another where we let another awful team , close down our best players , and beat us. Rinse and repeat !.
That leaves us effectively with a game in hand against Man City , that we would need to win to get above a ramshackle mob like West Ham.
Their manager is a former successful manager of this club , albeit in much different circumstances , who is vilified by many on here.
Can someone please explain to me what is going on ?
Don't worry, Moyes may have his mojo back, but this is as good as it gets for him and W. Ham, he's peaked.
You'll see next season, he'll be 16th by Oct and finish 11th
Seen it all before.

Nothing to see here.

Ah the world renowned Moyes, winner of multiple champions leagues and other trophies in a glittering managerial career. Someone who all the top professionals who played under him hold him in the highest regard:

"he was alright" Marcus Bent
"Moyes is definitely better than Mike Walker" Unsworth.
"he tried to ruin my career" Yakubu
"Don't get me started on him" Rio Ferdinand
"eeeeerm" Wayne Rooney
