Fact is, you're all as excited and as expentant as England fans at the start of the campaign and then when it inevitably falls flat on its arse half way through, you pour scorn on England fans for being 'too expentant' or whatever because we're still in it. We largely have reason to be expentant to qualify because there are few teams in Europe who have better players than we do. The same cannot be said for wales scotland and the Irelands.
