Good signing for Sussex @big nev lookalike

And of course Aussie 'superstar' Travis Head as captain and Stephen Finn bolstering the bowling.

Ben Brown has left though - wouldn't mind him at Lancs.
Some good experience there with those 3 to add to the promising younger players. Hopefully Travis Head will score more runs this season. A big shame about Ben Brown but I’m sure he will do very well ,wherever he goes.

Reading David 'Bumble' Lloyd's book, 'Around the world in 80 pints'

Very funny opens with..

'For those of you who know me as 'that bloke off the telly', I have to let you know that being George Clooney's body double, and therefore a renowned international sex symbol, only forms part of the Bumble package. And for Nasser Hussain, who for some reason refers to me by an alternative nickname, a lesson in pronunciation. There is no silent 'C' in Clooney, for goodness sake, show some respect.

Quiton de Kock retired from test cricket aged 29. Said he wants to spend more time with his family. Still fully committed to white ball cricket.

Such a shame this. Wonder if it's a sign of things to come. I love test cricket but can understand that players have families they wish to be with, especially now with Covid rules on tours etc. And of course, white ball cricket is much more lucrative in terms of the franchises around the world.

Great win for SA against India to level the series with one to play. With Bangladesh beating NZ in the 1st test both of the supposedly best teams in the world have lost. Funny how NZ's batting suddenly looks fragile without Williamson.

Forget the debacle in Australia - test cricket lives!
