Been overseas watching cricket and on occasion you get a chance to get closer to the players . I wish I could say those tweets disappoint me but in reality I’m half pleased as I thought he was a whopper , not proud of myself but there you are.

Can't remember Owais Shah playing a game.

I can't remember Shah playing either - didn't do enough in 2nd xi to deserve a game.

I saw the other two in the 2020 season Bob Willis games - let's just say I think Lancs have made the right decisions.

Moulton had a loan spell at Derby towards the end of last season, so maybe there's an opportunity for him there.

New Zealand favourites for me, the injuries, the toss and so many constantly underestimating a team who just keep performing time and time again on the big international stage in all formats, add up to the far more settled side growing into this competition to reach the final and win it.

The Kiwis are outsiders in the game today. 6/5 against England's 4/6. You could be right though in today's game as England's woes may let them down today. Think the winner of the event comes from the other semi.

Yes it's a personal opinion not who are actually favourites. I've thought NZ for some time now.

I did say 'for me' tbf.

Chris Jordan as a death bowler was the most expensive but as he's not Mark Wood he may come in for less criticism. Unfortunately losing the toss meant it was all too predictable but I think New Zealand would have found a way anyway tbh. Although you can blame it on the bowlers, chasing was always easier on this wicket. Jason Roy's injury was the straw that broke the camel's back for me, we needed 180 plus.

New Zealand remain my tip to win it.

NZ needed 57 from 24 balls. 9/10 England would have gone on to win the game. Pietersen was bang on in his analysis before the game. He spoke of NZ having a settled side, world test champions. Whereas he had really concerns about England in the bowling department with the loss of Mills and spoke of the huge loss of an in form Roy at the top of the order.
I guess hindsight is a great thing, but I’m sure Willey or Topley should have been brought in to add the variation our attack so badly lacked. Archer has been a massive loss. He gets wickets in the power play and barely goes for a run a ball. However moving forward, like with Mark Wood, it is difficult to plan an attack built around him as both are injury prone.

Vaughan in the poo.

"Having my reputation unfairly trashed..."

Nobody would even know it's him at the centre of this if he hadn't outed himself in his Telegraph column, the absolute fruit.

Vaughan's a proper gammon and all-round vile bloke, anyone whom has seen his social media over the years can attest to that. Countless examples of him posting support for right-wing politics and in some cases tweeting borderline, if not full-blown, racist crap. Just no one cared enough before now. He's also got form for denying saying stuff only to be proven an outright liar. He called Flintoff "Fredalo" for that drunken incident in 2007 before the World Cup. Was emphatic he was misquoted by the journalist and never even used the term, only for the paper to release audio in which he said exactly that numerous times and in the context it was reported.

Hopefully he's finished in the media now.
