Completely changes the dynamic of the team. Can bat at 5 or 6, offers overs as a 4th seamer, and allows them to pick a spinner. Plus he's the sort of player who will can win a match by himself.

I think they need to play Woakes every match where possible to lengthen the batting, and then rotate the other seamers across the matches by picking 2 of Anderson/Broad/Wood/Robinson. That means Leach can play as the spinner.

That gives a top 8 of something like this....

Three Lancashire players (the most of any county) selected for England's U19 limited overs tour of Sri Lanka in preparation for the U19 World Cup in the West Indies in January. The players are : Tom Aspinwall, George Bell and Josh Boyden.
