England heading for a heavy defeat. India still available at 4/6. India will be out of sight by tomorrow lunchtime.
India are effectively 97-1. Hardly out of sight on day 3England heading for a heavy defeat. India still available at 4/6. India will be out of sight by tomorrow lunchtime.
Your comment was somewhat premature.India will be about 600 for 3 at tea at this rate. They will declare, bang England in for a few overs, and it will be all over by stumps
It was indeed! Just the way I felt at that time.Your comment was somewhat premature.
Livingstone apparently out after falling ill after having his second Covid jab.Notts 97 - 1 at lunch, Duckett 59, Northeast a very fortunate 27. Lancs could easily have taken 4 or 5 wickets but have only themselves to blame for dropped catches, Mahmood particularly unlucky and has unflattering figures of 9-1-40-0.
One of the catches dropped by Croft at slip who damaged a finger and hasn't been seen since. Another catch dropped by young keeper Lavelle. A very promising player but I find it a bit strange that he has been brought into the team at this crucial time while experienced keepers Vilas and Davies watch from the outfield.
With no Parkinson to turn to I can see Notts racking up a big score as the ball goes soft.
Kholi has always been such a knobHas Kholi always been such a knob when batting? Needs to calm his emotions down for me and concentrate on his batting.
Thanks, any news of Parkinson?Livingstone apparently out after falling ill after having his second Covid jab.
Somebody said Parkinson injured himself whilst having fielding practice in the the slips before the start of play. He was on named on the scoreboard at the start of play instead of Mahmood. Thanks, any news of Parkinson?
Mahmood went off clutching his side midway through an over as well, but the Lancs medium pacers stepped up to bowl Notts out for 272, quite a collapse from 211-3. Bailey and Lamb took 4 wickets and Balderson 1. In reply, Lancs have just closed on 28-2, Alex Davies caught behind for a duck, Luke Wells caught at short leg for 8. Balderson has done well to survive, 18no, and Lamb is 1no.
All to play for and I think Lancs will be pleased with the day as a whole.
20 wickets in a day at Edgbaston, all to seamers - surely Warwick will be docked points for producing that pitch ( I doubt it).
Yorkshire on top against Somerset, who seem to be struggling at just the wrong time (for them) having been thrashed last week.
yeah that could be true otherwise if there'd been time for him to get to the ground I would have thought they'd have brought Hartley in.Somebody said Parkinson injured himself whilst having fielding practice in the the slips before the start of play. He was on named on the scoreboard at the start of play instead of Mahmood.
