Ha, I'm the exact same, think it was 1988

I also remember in the early to mid 90's Eddie Jordan (F1 team owner) was a big fan and would always mention them, that got my interest, then Keane breaking through.
Hope they do well. Also have a lot of time for Lampard, just the wrong time for him at the toffees.
I still have it sonewhere...I'll take a look for it as I want to know now.

How about the very handsome Ian Wallace in that wonderful brown kit with the funny stripes down either side....think it was an Admiral kit. That kit could be ace if it was re-imagined by someone like Hummel. Looking forward to seeing Frank get a really good reception - right guy, wrong time.
Anyway, welcome back to the most corrupt league in Europe - sure you'll enjoy the farce that is VAR, the obvious bias to the Sly 6 and the overall incompetence of the officiating.

Few current links between the clubs....Lampard and Simms etc.

But the biggest link for me is that Mrs Covkid1968, the wife, is an Evertonian - so I have been looking forward to us coming up (preferable to you coming down) for many many years.

We get up one or two games a season to see the Toffees.....but next time I will be coming up with my home town club.

We had Man City tickets for this weekend and the game got moved so we can't come up now. So I still haven't seen that fantastic stadium inside. Although we do have a brick as the company that supplied the bricks is local to us in the Midlands and gave the wife one. (all numbered so a very prized possession in our house)

Anyways - looking forward to coming up and having a beer with you. Of course the wife will be in the home end and I'll be in the away end.

So be gentle with us - Little old Cov would like to get more points than the all time record low that belongs to Derby!!

Great to see an old club back in the big time.

As it happens I've seen 3 Coventry games this season during our UK footie tour, West Brom at home , Boro away (regrettably in the home end for that one) and Preston away. Great games to watch, definitely deserved the results in those games but you'll need to strengthen considerably (Sunderland style) to have any chance of staying up. Ill be following with interest and hope you do.

Welcome to GOT and a very warm welcome back to the Premiership.
As for Frank, I think he will get a tremendous reception at the HD, he worked his socks off for us, he's a decent guy but as previously mentioned it just wasn't the right time.e or conditions for him.
I for one have a soft spot for city, one of my old workmate s Eric was city daft and we used to have good banter, it's been a long and painful road back and your fans deserve it.
IApart from when you play us of course I hope you have a decent season next year preferably staying up at the expense of that lot across the road.
