My great, great grandparents came over to Liverpool from County Cork. I’ve always thought it explains my love of Guinness and horse racing.

I’m quarter Irish but have zero interest in the place, went there several times on holiday as a kid and it was boring/depressing as hell compared to all the other holidays abroad in Greece, Italy etc

Maybe it’s a good place to go and die when you’re old.

Talking about the countryside btw, im sure the cities are fine.

I’ll bet a decent proportion of people on here will have Irish roots, I certainly do, but I am English not Irish, you are English and British not Irish, be proud of it……..
