A country of convicts and ten pounds poms who drove the natives off their own land and into a cycle of poverty and drug addiction
I'm sure the fact Aboriginal folks and Native Americans shared familiar fates was just coincidental, seeing how close the countries are to one another; it's not as if there are any historical ties to another country that bind them.

Oh, right.

Tim Cahill.

That is all.

Never visited. Would like to. My old housemate at uni headed off there and lived there for three years before being kicked out in circumstances she would never properly get into. The story always changed. Anyways, she was a really difficult diva so I stand shoulder to shoulder with the Aussies here.

Plus, all the folk I've from Aus have been genuinely open and friendly.

So it's a yes from me.

Couldn't agree more. It's very depressing actually.

Spent my life hating the Aussie cricket team going back to the days of Dennis Lillee & the Chappell brothers.
Me too. From Warne/McGrath predicting 5-0 Ashes victories to Warner/Smith cheating then throwing young Bancroft under the bus and Chappell ordering his brother to bowl underarm, absolutely despicable.

I have a soft spot for the Socceroos, and I get behind Aussie athletes at the Olympics, but the rest can GTF.
