That'll be rolled into the Branthwaite calculations if he's going there...which I suspect he is.

Mmmm. Dunno. Hes literally missed a whole season of football and would cost more than the £50mill City have posted for Grealish.

Anything like that would be two separate deals. Very rarely do you have those player swap deals/cut price transfers. They don't look good on a balance sheet

Mykolenko will surely have his 12 month extension triggered by the club in hope they can sell him. Aren’t Beto and Tim out of contract next year?

You’d imagine the club will wait to see where they finish in the league before making a decision on players. This summer is a massive window for the club and depending on how much we have to spend, the likes of Gana, Keane and Mykolenko will likely get new deals.

City would value Branthwaite - a player at a non-CL club - at about £80M; they'd value Grealish at £40M.

We'll no doubt be suckered into buying Grealish so we'd have about £40M to spend this summer + any other bit of cash that can be wrestled out of TFG.

Mykolenko three+ 1? I bloody hope not! Two years as backup would be fine, but no more than that as he really is a limited player.

Have to imagine his contract is being negotiated as we speak because he'd surely have been sold in January if we didn't want to keep him after this season.
Not saying i agree with it and i imagine that the length of contract will be in part to ensure we can at least get something as a sell on fee

id like to see keane and gueye move on just because they’ll keep gettin in the side regularly

otherwise id keep them to not have to spend money on replacements especially with needing to spend on rohl, and the grealish and george if we want them, plus the money that needs to go in for a centre forward and two starting full backs

mykolenko would be a handy back up, especially if we do loan out aznou. but i wouldnt be upset if we lose him. he may have better offers with more guaranteed game time elsewhere

seamus i can see being a coach. he can’t be stepping on the pitch except for 5 mins at sunderland assuming nothing’s on the line

Mykolenko falls into Keane category for me.

Signed as a necessity and because he can be backup, needs to be replaced at urgency, but as as a backup it could be worse.

Didn't expect Keane to out perform Tarkowski, mind.

Can easily see Keane, Gana getting new deals.

The new rules are squad cost ratio, so we can spend 85% of our turnover on wages and transfer fees

The last set of audited accounts our wage bill was 84% of our turnover.
Surely with the new stadium and new sponsorship deals our turnover will have increased dramatically
I’d extend all those contracts except Coleman ( Grealish and George no more than 20-25 each )
Keane Mykalenko good back ups. Need to buy 2 starting full backs a back up RB and a striker maybe 2 if Beto is sold

All depends on Moyes bothering his arse to replace any of those with anyone better/cheaper.

Can see them all being kept on, with Coleman becoming a coach (obviously).

Depressing isn’t it.

Grealish - I dont think the £50mill clause is mandatory, its a value City have put on the player for negotiations. So he'll go for less depending on what can be agreed.

The big thing would be his wages. Think we'll be in pole position for those negotiations and if we get Europe we should hope to push it through.
I agree that 50m is unrealistic
I’m not sure what his book value is in the summer probably around 20m
I don’t think k wages will be an issue as none of the top six will want him and I’d say he’d be happy here for 2 years on a par with our top earners
