Computer games.

Its a Blizzard game though. And a popular one that will probably have some staying power. Any discounts on it will most likely be small and very infrequent.
Yep true. Gotta give it to Blizzard though, the polish on their games is incredible and the hype that surrounds them is unmatched.

I wish publishers like Ubisoft had the same commitment to quality.
The Division is a game that had the potential to be absolutely brilliant, but a lack of hotfixes, key aspects to the game broken and critically a lack of end game content has ruined it for many, including me.
I've still got great enjoyment out of it, the community in particular I have mostly found to be pretty good and their matchmaking system makes it very easy to find people to play with. The game is beautiful and there is great attention to detail for a urban free roam. The combat mechanics are interesting and the PvP in the Dark Zone is very fun and engaging.
The lack of ongoing support for the game is incredibly frustrating.

CD Projekt RED are another company that deserve huge praise from the gaming community. Others should take note!

I think I'm pretty much convinced. Haven't spent 40 quid on a game for a while though.

It's all relative. Spent that on uncharted, finished it, traded it in for 35 quid.

Spent that on this, will get at least 100 hours out of it. Will probably be my goto multiplayer game for a while. Unlike a lot of big multiplayer games of late the community and support won't wind down quickly. It's a Blizzard game after all.

Ultimately though this is why I buy disc copies. 40 quid is a lot to put down if you don't have the option to sell it on if you don't like it/finish it.

But isn't the game tied to your battle.net account? So even if you sold your physical copy they would still have to buy it again themselves wouldn't they?

I'm playing on ps4. Fairly sure you can buy a preowned copy of it, like any ps4 game.

My point was more trading in games you can finish though. I won't be trading this in!

Out of curiousity, what is the game that has the most hours played on your Steam accounts?

Mine is currently FM14 with 1589 hours, followed by CK2 with 502 hours.

TF2 1,498 hours (my son)
Garry's Mod 262 hours (my son)
Skyrim 253 hours (me + my son a bit)
Kerbal Space Program 201 hours (all me)
Rust 197 hours (all me)

Not on Steam.....Elite: Dangerous. Got over 500 hours in that.

If you counted the PC games not on steam I reckon I put in a comfortable 4-500 hours into AOE 2 and Medieval TW2.
Don't think I've hit much more than a couple hundred on any xbox game.

Don't have a console, only PC. Haven't bought a physical copy of a game in donkeys.

Pc games are cheaper generally so it balances out somewhat. Overwatch maybe not though. That said, I can't see anyone who enjoys the game not getting their money's worth, and I can't see many not enjoying the game!

Destiny was a far better game than people give Bungie credit for. For a MMO for consoles so to speak it was a great game, very fun and back when i did have it i always had something to do, and essentially like 50 people to play with at any given time.

the problem for me is that bungie essentially broke the game. cutting content and re packaging it as DLC, changing things that didn't need to be changed, trying to add value to a game that needed content etc

I mean the newest content they are going to release i was reading about. Essentially a raid cut from a previous DLC and locations that existed at the beginning also, and people will go out and buy that like a mug! I bought 1 dlc, shared the second one off my mates season pass and then stopped playing when i saw no value in getting the next.

If you are interested in getting into a fun game though, seen it like 8 quid in CEX for the whole collection so far.
