Computer games.

Yeah dude, here is one of the late gen Core 2 Duo's (rated at 3Ghz, the minumum for the game)

http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core2-Duo-E8400-vs-Intel-Core-i5-3230M

You can see that your processor beats it in all the actual performance categories .

Also worth mentioning, the integrated graphics on your CPU is the Intel HD4000, so you do, officially meet the minimum spec (make sure you are running the games with the GT630M and not the HD 4000, because unless your system is told to, half the time it tries running games using integrated graphics)

woop, remember playing rome total war and thinking Warhammer would be perfect for this, just glad they have finally done it!

By the way,

Delefeou is holding a competition on Facebook at this current time, post your favourite picture of the season to be in with a shot of both meeting him, and going to the Overwatch launch in London.

Is it boss? Trailer looks awesome

I've got it, but only played a little bit as my system struggles with it. Have heard only good things, and 2 of the main Youtubers I follow - Quill18 and TotalBiscuit - were very positive about it in their initial assesments.

New Doom is fan blummin tastic. Beefy guns...non stop action. Its like a bull running through a china shop with a chainsaw strapped to its head. Its almost too violent. Its my favorite pc game this year. I don't know what it performs like on consoles though. On pc with a 980ti..i can crank it on ultra using dsr 1440p on my tv. 60 fps ...its at times stunning to play. Cant reccomend enough tbh.

Yeah its not cod and thats why I love it. Its in your face..bloody, gritty. I would probably purchase it for single player only..the multiplayer isnt as good...feels tacked on. Single player though doesnt let up for a minute. What was really refreshing though was in like 1 minute from the beginning...you start the game..little story and boom your running n gunning.

Ah well. There are some story elements to it, but not much really and apparently doesn't get in the way of the game too much. It's more of an old school shooter, fast (both in terms of movement speed and pacing), intense, blasting demons in the face with rockets and grenades, ripping off their arms and beating them around the head. Looks great, there's a chainsaw, it's just fun and mindless (in the good way).

That is good to hear, and to see lots of positive reviews coming out for it as after the beta people were very disappointed with it.

Gonna have to try out this new one at some point!!

You wont regret it mate...
Got to a tough bit at the mo but rather than throw me mouse at a cat, Due to the very fast and acurate movement it always feels like my fault that i died. Id software deffo back to theyre best.

:)

But the real important release is a day later. Total War: Warhammer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can play it!

Been figuring out emulation on my fire tv box lately. My eldest has gotten into Pokemon the last couple of months. On my 16GB ultra fit USB I've managed to fit an NES emulator with every game ever made for it, same with the SNES, Master System, Mega Drive, Game Boy, GBA and Game Boy Colour.

Did have N64 with full Romset but mapping the controller buttons did my head in due to the N64 controller layout. PlayStation, Dreamcast, GameCube and Wii I've managed to get emulators for but the file size of the ISO's prevents me from setting them up properly. Downloaded FFVII and will have a mess around with that when I get some spare time. For a box the size of a double CD case though I'm impressed with the sheer amount of games I've managed to get on it. They play really well and look decent on a big screen, even the Game Boy games look decent scaled up, which are designed for a tiny screen.

I'll probably buy a 64GB USB and have a good crack at the other systems soon. If you've got little kids I'd well recommend them as there's tons of Disney, Pokemon, Sonic, Mario games etc. which are still great today. I got an OUYA controller which works pretty great on it for £12 from Grainger games. Might even get some of my childhood systems like Amiga and C64. Although Amigas mouse and keyboard may be clumsy mapped to a joypad.

Would this work on a Fire TV Stick by any chance?

Don't see why not mate. I use ADB fire to sideload the emulators. Don't think you can add extra storage to a fire stick but they have 8 GB so you should be able to get quite a bit on there. Google search for the apk's and ROMs they're free and easy to find. The emulators that have worked for mine are nesoid snesoid my boy and my old boy for the Nintendo systems and gensoid for the mega drive.
