I'd say it's slightly less action than normal as it feels like there are more movie scene type bits, I know cut-scenes sound bad on paper but this is Naughty Dog so they are actually really engaging. The mix of these, the walky-roundy bits, the climbing bits and the action bits has the pacing bang on so far. I've just finished a bit in Italy which was very Bond-like, I think that was level 7 and only my 2nd or 3rd real shoot-up so far.

Compared to the previous games, they've stepped everything up a notch again (no surprise!), it all feels a little more grown up, loving it.

Have you played SOMA? I bought it the other week, kind of got lost though so will start again.

oh, it's on my Steam watchlist...loved Amnesia, took a few weeks to finish...one of my favourites of all time. Waiting for a Steam sale as Soma is still €28.

Civ 4 I found too poppy somehow, 3 was the one which sucked my time the most.
