Computer games.

Just one of those games you really have to commit some time into before you start feeling like you're making progress.

Really immersive once you get going, though.

Especially if you end up buying a HOTAS and something like the Rift or TrackIR as well.

I feel like Stellaris is going to be awesome.
Watched the MP prerelease stream from Paradox and preordered off the back of it.

Here's my crappy flight-stick which is over 10 years old:

Incidentally, I've also been using it to play Star Wars Tie Fighter, mad seeing how far those types of games have come with Elite: Dangerous.

If I ever get back into Elite I'll probably buy a new stick.

This is the cheap HOTAS I fly with:

about 30-40 GBP depending on if you get it on sale or not.

Thrustmaster has released a new version that is PS4 compatible, which is a bit usless for E:D as it isn't available on PS4, but it *may* be handy for No Man's Sky. ALthough controller support hasn't been released yet.

Looks like it may be pretty good! Lets hope so!
Aye, it looks simple enough in its basic concepts, but diverse and challenging enough to keep you interested. Something the designers have really worked at apparently, from reading through their mission statements and blogs. It offers a plethora of RP opportunities as well, from a Genocidal 3rd Reich from the Sun, to a if Dinosaurs ruled the Earth and got space flight. Expect Starwars Universe mods from the get go too. Launches in a week.

What do you think about this, @chicoazul ? Looks quite nerdy.

Hang on....factor in Track IR, which is a sensor that sits atop your monitor and an active led array attaches to you headset to track your head motion to translate into headlook in game. Quite handy in flight sims and E: D

Also, my cheap HOTAS is nothing on the Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog, which will go for $500.
