Have you tried Dirt Rally yet mate?

Hardest driving game I've ever players but worth the effort.

I'd be really keen to but I've only got an Xbox 360 and a MacBook. I've got Dirt 3 on my Mac but haven't played it in ages. The Gymkhana events pissed me off a bit. I found Dirt 2 and what I've played of 3 a bit on the easy side so I'd love to try that!

No Gymkhana in Dirt Rally thank god. They did my head in too.

Wait until you try the Pikes Peak Hill Climb event. Unreal.

I should probably buy and play CK2. But Total War: Warhammer is just around the corner!!!!!!

Aye, I went off the Total War franchise a bit because of how they mangled Rome 2, and released a half finished broken game that could have been a great if they'd done it properly. Got great enjoyment out of Shogun and Medieval 2 though, two fantastically crafted games.
Stylistically I think I prefer CK 2 though, it just allows more control and has much more depth politically and democratically. You live and die by the choices you make, rather than digging your way out through a couple of miraculous battle wins against an average AI.

Hopefully TW don't mangle Warhammer, I'll be waiting to see how the community reviews it before I take the dip, will probably pick up Paradox's latest offering Stellaris as it looks fascinating though.

Well, the preview videos that they have been putting out have looked pretty darn good. Pretty much how I would have expected the tabletop translate to a video game.

Is Tropico 5 any good? Its the game of the month this month on psplus.

What sort of game is it? google hasn't really told me anything, is it a civilization type game or what?

I owned it for a while when it came out mate. It's decent. Tough like but different to most other PS4 games.

It's like a strategy game, you are the mayor of a tiny plantation, like Sim City style, and have to build up your town through different eras.

I only ever made it to WW2 without being thrown from power. It's hard.

Strategy is hit and miss for me. I love civilisation and command and conquer but anno and age of empires not my thing.

I'd place it somewhere in the middle of all those games you mentioned. It's quite humorous too.

Side note.

If you download garden warfare 2 demo you get 10 hours of gameplay for free, including multiplayer. Its cumulative as well, so turn the game off, clock stops.

Had a couple of games and so far it it appears to be really fun. YOu have a choice of flowers or zombies depending on the side and they have different abilities and stuff. All silly as well.

Like the mini zombie, weak by himself but has a move where he spins round shooting, and once your power bar is full (takes a while) you can jump into a mech suit.

Highly recommend giving it a whirl whilst you get it for free right now. I personally enjoyed the 2 games i played so far.

Bought Rugby Challenge 3 over the weekend. There haven't really been any good rugby video games so my expectations were low, but it was still pretty awful.
