Did anyone play the Doom beta over the weekend?

Only way to play! Don't really do the big open world modern/military ones myself, I miss the old Arena Shooters.

Same. Dirt Rally is awesome but looking at what is coming out it's only those 2 that stand out for me.

As long as they provide a trade-in path to upgrade I think I'd likely buy one, especially if all games are going to have to ship with a version for the ps4.5 anyway.

No the games probably won't be 4k after all. the parts that would power that on pc cost more than a new console alone.

The console won't be a new thing technically. They will have a base PS4 service so all games will be compatable with both consoles, only slightly better graphics and slightly faster if you upgrade.

So bar playing the VR headset, there won't be a massive difference between the two, kinda like a phone upgrade rather than a new console.
