Computer games.

If you want like random pick up the game and go for a drive around the city and find stuff then it's not all that, but if you want a gangster type story adventure then you're in for a treat.

Yeah, like I said I am enjoying it, just a bit let down that it wasn't as open world as it appeared.

Unrelated, for anyone interested in Mad Max on PC/Steam......you can get it for $12 (or $10.80 for first time subscribers!!!) by subscribing to Humble Bundle's monthly bundle. Some other games will be added in later, but considering the price of Mad Max at all the regular outlets (Steam, humble, greenmangaming etc etc) $12 is a very good price (hell it is cheaper than g2a or cdkeys right now!!!)

Now I'm not bad at driving games but Dirt Rally. Bloody hell fire. It's like so very very hard!!

But, I am getting slowly better at it. Well at the Rally Cross. Actual rallying is still insanely too hard.

As I haven't played it before, I fired up Mafia 2 on the weekend as it has been sitting in my steam library for a year or two (think I got it in a 2k Humble Bundle). Good game, but limited. A very linear game that likes to appear that it is a sandbox.

Almost all the way through the story, although I am not sure I am gonna bother with the DLC for the game.

Worth it if you get it for peanuts or as part of a larger bundle like I did.

When you get towards the end of the game you have an option to either rob some stores for cash or to instead rob some cars. If you choose the stores then you can't go on to the next mission, was a terrible glitch that stopped me finishing the game.

The end was utterly ludicrous anyway!

Ps4 nerds / I really wanna buy Hitman on the ps store - there is alike 4 options tho. Which one do I wanna get? None of them make sense to an old fella like me
The game is coming out in episodes mate.

So you can buy the first one, or buy the whole pack, despite it not being out yet. Either buy the first and enjoy it or hang on until all the game is released later in the year.

Picked up Assassin's Creed: Rogue in a Steam sale.

I've played every game so far (excluding the newest, Syndication?) so it annoyed me that I had missed one out.
Apparently it's way better than AC: Unity which was released at the same time.

Going to play it through after I finish uni, hopefully it'll give me something to look forward to!

Anyone else played it?

Yea I am about most of the way through it. I love it for the most part. It is very similar to Black Flag and the story isn't too bad at all. I had a ton of fun taking out the Assassin forts and their gang hide outs in New York. Mostly I just love sailing my ship and getting into massive fights.

I picked Unity up at the same time to play after this. Part of the reason I haven't beat Rogue is because of how bad everyone said Unity was. I love the AC games, they're repetitive but I still enjoy them. I just wait to get them second hand because they're always cheap about a year after they come out.

I loved Black Flag. So if this is basically a Templar Black Flag, I'm all for it.

Unity was a mess though

Also, anyone who is into the TOTAL WAR series of PC games give this a gander. Brilliant History Channel series that uses Rome Total War to recreate some major ancient battles. Each episode is 20 minutes long and is full of interesting background and then an analysis of the tactics involved. It is called Decisive Battles.

Aw that's brilliant.

Total War Shogun 2 was my favourite game for a long period of time. Huge battles with ninjas and samurai... So much fun!
