I didn't realise this but Blizzard actually apologised for Diablo III. Says it all!

It really is a shocking title. Tried to give it another chance recently - 15 minutes in it had me furious again.

Totally. Sad as it sounds, I waited with anticipation those 12 long years, and didn't even play it for longer than 2 weeks. Even tried to give it another go a few times, and just couldn't.

... this, which is my feeling exactly. If the game was even half-decent I'd mark out about it, as I'm a bit of a Blizzard fan boy by my own admission, but it's pure turd it really is. There's a side of me that's glad Blizzard have at least acknowledged it as I was going to boycott their future products if they didn't admit D3 is bad. At least I now have hope that they'll develop a competent product in the future.

I've just actually bought that on Amazon for £10, awaiting delivery now. The only FF I haven't played!!!

If you want a dungeon crawler, get Diablo 2 or Baldurs Gate - Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance on the PS2 is 10x the game D3 is; for a console-based dungeon crawler to beat hands down a PC game is utterly absurd, but there we are!
