Computer games.

Got up to around 1609 or so (from a start in 1444), after carrying over a saved game of the Roman Empire from CK2. Currently getting quite a few casus belli against foriegn nations simply because they are rich and techonologically inferior to Rome.

Nice. Doesn't it cost more for the mod to transfer over a game from CKII (not that I've vere finished a game of that!)? Have you played any MP?

More than likely. I've never been into Halo but I was completely taken by the Destiny beta. It was excellent IMO. The amount of options you had with your character. Playing with friend was really fun. Levelling up is always fun, getting new stuff, gear, guns etc. PVP was also fun getting boss kills streaks.

I need the game now ffs.

The three classes all have their own positives and negatives. They're Titan, Warlock or Hunter. They each have their own unique weapons, armour, special weapons, skill trees, perks and appearance which is fully customisable when choosing your class. I can't remember the classes fully and match their abilities but I can remember bits. One was a marksman, so his weapons were mainly marksman rifles to sit back and support from a distance. One was more assault so he had a choice of shotguns, assault rifles etc and I can't remember one of the others.

They each have their own benefits for PVP or PVE. I picked Titan when I played the beta and it was good. The guns and special weapons you could get under that class I enjoyed using.

Other than that the game is really immersive, beautifully designed and well put together.

Is this coming out on PC? Sounds like a flash version of Borderlands...

What's the scariest horror game of all time? The one which really made you sleep with the light on?

Silent Hill on the PS1 for me.

Hearing lots of good things about Penumbra & Amnesia too, might have to check them out.
This new Alien Isolation game is looking as though it could be pretty terrifying. Not sure it'll have enough about it to keep me interested though.

Get on this lads:

Steamworld Dig and Prison Architect are sublime (the latter will only get better), and Papers, Please is one of the best, most unique games I've ever played - I'd have it in my top 20 with ease.

With Prison Architect and Papers, Please I've always been a bit worried about their longevity and replayability, so I've stayed away from them...

Would you recommend them then?

They're wonderful, especially for this price (around £7).

Papers, Please isn't a game of longevity as such, but such a unique, tight experience that it doesn't matter. You'll get replay value from making different decisions, but the core remains the same - that said, the great thing is the core of the game is so utterly brilliant that you'll never think "hmm I've just wasted money there."

Prison Architect is what you make of it, and as it's early access it's not anywhere near its' best but still great if you like creating things in games.

I'd say if you could get either game for around £10 each they are well worth it, to get both for around £7 is an absolute no-brainer - I'd pay that for the Papers, Please theme song alone!
