Computer games.

Believe me when I say that I'm very, very aware that when you read someone preaching their nostalgia that bears no relevence to you, you find it annoying and don't take it seriously. I've found that nostalgia highs seem to be an intrinsic property among gamers. ANYWAY... I just thought that I would, in spite of the previous sentence, and in a semi-ineribriated state express my love for Timesplitters 2.

Thank you Timesplitters 2.

Do PC people always play on monitors or do they hook systems up to TVs?

I'm browsing GoT now on a 55" LCD, there's nothing to prevent you from doing that apart from not having the right connection on your TV and/or video card. I'm hooked up through HDMI right now but some older video cards don't have an HDMI out, so you need VGA on the back of the TV. I won't go back to a monitor unless I have no choice.

Play are curerntly pricing XBone games at 60, little bit silly like. If there's a situation were a game comes out and it's still 30 - 40 quid on PC but 60 on the XBone then that will be really silly.

They always do that though, even when the Xbox 360 came out they were pricing them as high as £55-60.

I think you're getting more value for money in games these days but I don't think they're any cheaper than they used to be.

I'm sure the price will go down, but quite simply if a game on Xbone shouldn't cost more than the same game on PC, it's not fair to consumers who aren't wouldn't be purchasing a game that is technically better than what it would be on PC. Will have to wait and see if that is indeed the case of course.

Just picked up The Last Of Us on my lunch break.

When did buying games become so special? They were offering me all sorts of add ons behind the counter. Really annoyed me. If I wanted them i'd ask for them.

No wonder retail outlets are going under. I'd much rather buy online and not get pestered

Ayway, looking forward to playing this later!
