Computer games.

I just finished Spiderman and The Last of Us is next on my list. Can't wait, in time for the sequel and this Developer isn't afraid of setting expectations high

I keep forgetting the sequel is out soon. I believe the original isn’t a terrifically long game so I’d imagine I will complete it at around the time of release.

I’ve also got Uncharted Nathan Drake Collection to get through, also by Naughty Dog.

Original isn’t particularly long, especially if you aren’t trying to collect everything/search everywhere etc. I think it might be my favourite game ever. Cannot wait for the sequel. Good thing about Naughty Dog is that they don’t rush things.

Had a go of Kingdom Come: Deliverance earlier....

Love the premise of not being some great hero and being pretty useless at the usual RPG stuff. It makes sense that a village lad going up against even a lowly trained soldier will see your character soundly beaten and that nobles and others aren't going to pay much heed to a lowly peasant. Really good idea.

But it's so poorly executed. Long stilted cut scene, loading pause, walk ten yards and start a long stilted conversation, loading pause, another long awkward cut scene, loading pause, two minute "roam", loading pause, long cut scene.....and so on and so forth.

I'll carry on and give it a few more hours. Hopefully it opens up a bit soon and there's the opportunity for a bit of actual gameplay in there.

You've got a quality couple of weeks coming up - slightly jealous I'm not playing all of those 4 games for the very first time

It takes a while to get going and can be frustrating early game. Really improves once your character gets a grip of the base skills and you get yo wander around on your own.

Feels great once you master the combat and you start to dispatch bandits more easily

:D

I picked this up again a few days ago as initially I was quite overwhelmed by the depth of it as a complete RPG novice (the most RPG like game I’d played prior was RDR2). I completed the prologue last night and I’m quite gripped by it already. The cut scenes were a bit lengthy and there’s bugs galore but I can’t help but be really intrigued by the realism of it and the fact you start with nothing.

I’d been looking for a survival game for a while but this game has ticked that box for me.

I'm being given some parts towards building my own PC, which I have never done. Not sure what I'm getting but think I might need a new motherboard a power supply, memory. I have a case, graphics card and 2 hdd drives. Any ideas what I need and cheapest place to buy parts.

I got further in and it got much better but still very buggy as you say. While often frustrating at least it shows a bit of ambition so I'd regard it as a success.

Picked up Dark Souls 3 deluxe version on PC for £15.

I finished it on console back when it was released in 2016, but never got around to the DLC.

Also added the 'Cinders' mod, which I've heard great things about. It completely re balances a lot of the game, specifically status effects, buffs, spells and the like.
Introduces new starting classes and adds hundreds of new weapons, shields and armour. Some taken from other souls games, some completely unique.

It's been around for a year or so, but has had a massive new update recently.

Well worth a look!
