Anyone here played Kingdom Come: Deliverance?

I’m not usually one for RPGs but this one looks a bit different in that there’s no fantasy elements and seems more realistic than most.

Played it for a couple of hours. Seems quite good, authentic and realistic, as you said. Not quite sure about the combat yet, needs getting accustomed to. I just struggle to pick up games again to continue playing them after I finish an evenings session. It's the exact same thing for me with Assassins Creed Oddysey and loads of other games.

Really enjoyed it myself.
But you need to dedicate a fair bit of time to it as its systems can be quite complex to get the hang of. Not something you can just pick up and play.

The leap from 4 to 5 was thier smallest leap for me. It’s great game, 5. I wish it was longer story wise. I remember sanandreas was gigantic and so long. I thought 5 would have been like that.

Been a long time since I played 4. I thought they were similar, but in 5 there's 3 different characters and a much more diverse and entertaining storyline.

I honestly think there's not much to split the graphics - but 5 has a better map with loads more vehicles etc.

What it is about 4 you like better?

Well when I first played it the mechanics and graphics etc blew me a way it was next level. But I also enjoyed the dark serious tone and Niko Belic was intense and had a interesting back story. Loved the grit n all.
Don’t get me wrong love when rockstar get over the top and silly like in 5 but I was expecting a lot more. I figured if it wasn’t going to be a major leap then atleast the story was going to be insanely big. When I did the last mission I thought to myself ‘now we are talking let’s see we’re this goes’ I thought the game was just getting started and then the credits rolled. I was in shock.

Also there’s a video out that actually gets into how 5 decreased insome physics, animations and graphics (insome areas) like 4 took more time with the smaller details. And it clarified what I was subconsciously feeling at the time but didn’t wanna accept it.

I think 5 plan was the online mode and more effort went into that to the detriment of the single player.

Finished Spiderman but wasn’t interested enough to platinum it like HZD. Technically impressive game, very good gameplay but a bit too repetitive.

Been playing Baba is You on Switch. Excellent logic puzzler. Also got a 3rd party SNES controller and been enjoying the nes/snes games a lot more.

and finally started Witcher 3. Only in the first village and not been blown away yet. Was kind of expecting a wow factor right away considering the reputation, but I’ll stick with it. Seems like something I’ll enjoy.

I think it takes a while to lose the feeling of a previous game you got stuck into. HZD I thought had a great learning curve and smooth controls/combat and I was thinking that has affected my enjoyment of Spider-Man when I returned to it and now starting Witcher 3 it’s probably the same. Anybody else find that?

The combat in Witcher is fiddly to begin with due to the signs. You get used to it and it starts to flow.
