Computer games.

This MGS is going to be dark, and i cant wait. The first bits give me goosebumps (Extended/Directors cut trailer)

Why haven't they announced MGS5 for PC?

The on-stage demo a few months back was on PC...

WHHYYY?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?

It is time to give up on our dreams, my friend. Sadly its not going to happen, iv'e seen a few games before that are showcased on a PC but are not actually going to be on it. Still, after that extended trailer i'm way too excited.

I've got a PS3 and a 360 but it's a shame because these versions will likely be watered down compared to the PS4 and XBone. If I could play it on my PC I could probably match it's settings on the new consoles. I don't get too hyped about games these days but by god is this game an exception.

If you were developing a game wouldn't you prefer the Microsoft method of actually getting some revenue when someone buys it pre-owned? Rather than getting nothing with a Sony version where the shop takes the profit?

I know people are complaining Microsoft have shot themselves in the foot here with their stance on pre-owned but I'm wondering if they've played a blinder and are going to get more developers on side as they have more revenue streams.

Could they end up with more exclusives or better versions of the games?

I think there are quite a few people who don't understand software licensing in regards to their stance on them wanting to sell their games on.

I don't really know enough about either yet, to know which is the better machine but microsofts seems to be more where I'd expect the gaming industry to be headed whereas Sonys seems like an updated version of the ps4.

You've summed up what i was saying to my mates before, EA and other producers won't like Playstations 'Trade in ! Please do it !' Stance.

Thats' why people like EA have signed agreements with Microsoft.

Microsoft have played a long term blinder even if in the short term, it seems bad, we will see games like FIFA, Battlefield and Assassins Creed will probably become Xbox exclusives.

The xbox and playstation comparison...titles abit wrong though

I haven't looked into it more to see if it's true, but PS4 using DDR5 over XBO's DDR3 should help out with graphics, provided the memory pool is shared. M$ f'ed up a bit there if this is true ie. DDR5 vs DDR3.
