you seem to be under the impression im the only person who thinks this, i think you'll find most people on places like neogaf etc agree its still by far the best looking game about on any platform with the correct mods.

all the mod does is change text setting in a config.xml to customise the lighting, this was possible from the release date of the game... back in 2007
anyway this is getting pointless, crysis is still widely regarded as the best looking game about when run maxed out with a time of day mod installed, if you don't think thats the case then fine.

In that case it clearly won't look better then. The graphics of Crysis with a lighting mod don't come close to the graphics of Battlefield 4 on consoles. Can't believe you're even saying it.

They showed the PC version of Battlefield 4 and it looked more or less identical to Battlefield 3 on PC (which looks great but not as good as Crysis with Reli2), They showed the PC version because as usual its going to be the most graphically impressive version.

You still haven't actually shown me any proof that Crysis is a graphically superior game to the new next-gen exclusive titles. I already know that's not the case as i have a high end PC and have played Crysis countless times. Not sure why you're so intent on arguing something which obviously isn't true.
Killzone Shadow Fall for example has far higher resolution textures, a higher polygon count, a superior lighting engine, and better particle effects. From a technical standpoint the original Crysis just doesn't stack up.
