The graphical horsepower of the PS4/Xbox One is much higher than any consumer level desktop PC which was available in 2007. The graphics on next gen games are superior and the consoles themselves have more powerful hardware than 2007 computers.

The above is from the upcoming next-gen console game 'The Division'. It looks streets ahead of vanilla Crysis.

lol, what does that matter mate ? If you think specs alone are the defining factor you're on crack... the PS3 wiped the floor with the 360 in specs and yet its cross platform games consistently looked worse.

only a mong who hasn't actually played crysis at 2560x1200 would try and argue the footage from yesterdays E3 was more visually impressive.

my graphics card cost double the price of the PS4 and yet you're sat here trying to tell me the PS4 wipes the floor with it, got to love people sold on marketing.

Crysis with a TOD mod is still considered by just about anyone clued up to still be the most visually impressive game on the market

2) I never said the PS4 'wiped the floor' with your graphics card

If you're going to go round throwing insults then at least get your argument straight. You said that next-gen consoles cannot put out graphics which are better than Crysis offers. That's blatantly not true.
 
Nothing on show has come close to it so far, for starters watchdogs looked piss poor on the PS4 compared to the PC footage from a few months ago. Also why were they demoing Battlefield 4 on a PC rather than a next gen console ? Because it blatantly looks way better on the PC.

Hype Hype Hype, thats all this next gen is so far.

I said nothing shown so far is on the level of Crysis with mods. The division does look boss though. Crysis was released in 2007 but no PC could run it maxed out for about a 2 years and then it took another 2 years for pcs to run it maxed out with super sampling enabled etc.

i know, im not denying they are going to be good value for money. im saying that the whole next gen thing is just marketing hype, pc has had this standard visuals for years now.

Which, as i said, isn't true. The consoles have hardware which is more than capable of beating anything you could see in Crysis. Go and do some basic research, they are x86 machines with 7850 equivalent GPUs inside.
 
Ok initial statement perhaps a bit overly dramatic, i still think with reli2 mod it looks better than anything shown so far... as do tons of other people. Just go and watch the watchdogs ps4 footage and compare to the PC footage a few months back, BIG difference.

Lol, where did I say I was wrong, I stand by statement, 2007 pc game still looks better than anything I've seen on either next gen console.
