It's not really up to Sony. DVDs and Blu rays are always region locked. Films are typically more region centric than games I think, what with classification boards wanting to have a say in what's okay for their country, so they like to exert control over that kind of stuff.

Enjoyed Nintendo's stream. Might actually get a Wii U with Mario Kart, Smash Bros and plenty of lovely looking Mario games on the horizon.

Just watched Sony's conference then at E3 and it was miles better than Microsoft in every way in my opinion. Better games on show, better ideas, better and slicker presentation and they are actually thinking about what people want and listening to them rather than Microsoft who just want to rob you blind.

I agree with the sentiment that PS4 is winning thus far ... but bloke at work thinks MS will win because of Kinect (which is apparently better than Move? -- I've never used either). Does that not sway the more casual gamers?

If you mean kinect that stays on the background and has the sensors ticking over at all times while you game etc.... Then it's an accessory that is completely not needed

Am i the only person seriously underwhelmed by the graphical capabilities of these two consoles ? a pc game from early 2007 still wipes the floor with both of them, goes to show just how far back consoles hold gaming.

It really doesn't.

It really does mate, it REALLY REALLY does... you're just perhaps not that technically clued up when it comes to graphics or don't notice the things which really stand out.

For starters the difference in the quality of AA is night and day, no way in hell either console will be running 8x Super sampling AA + an extra layer of 8x Sparse Grid Supersampling.

When you see Crysis running in motion using Reli2 mod it wipes the floor with everything currentley on PC and none of the footage shown at E3 so far is of Top end pc standards.
