How cheap would an Xbox 360 be at the moment?

Haha nice one lid. I'll have a mooch around, I'd have to buy a tv first though FFS.

that might help mate!Oh you hipster, you!
The "Console War" will come down to which console has the best games. Always will.
Fans of Halo, Gears, Fable and other MS exclusives aren't going to move to Playstation because of the strict DRM issue.
Some will.
I massively prefer MS' exclusives and the Halo franchise is one of my absolute favourites. But I'm not even considering the Xbone and am content never playing a new Halo game again knowing that I'd need to buy that monstrosity to do so.
But your point is taken -- many people will follow the games and be oblivious to the Xbox's flaws and its horrid consequences. However judging by the reaction on the internet and amongst people I know, there is universal hatred of MS at this time, and Sony have gained a lot more support.
Sony have definitely earned my support as well.
But in my opinion Microsoft have the games. They've absolutely killed Sony on that front, and they know it. If we want to play the best console games, we'll just have to put up with their stupid restrictions.
What do MS have exactly?
I think Kingdom Hearts, Killzone, FFXIV and their clearly greater support for indie games is nothing to sniff at (Transistor looks ace especially).
Personally the most exciting games coming out in the next year or so are, in my opinion, not console exclusive. Watch Dogs, The Witcher 3, Dragon Age 3 etc.
At the end of the day, most consumers aren't the mugs MS take them for in my opinion. Before you lay down £430 you're going to do a bit of research.
May just be me personally, but Ryse and Titanfall look really good. Then there's Halo. There will be a new Gears, a new Fable.
That'll be enough to attract people to the Xbox.
I definitely don't agree with MS' restrictions, but I'm still going to buy the console because I want those games.
