Yeah, it's a bummer but from what I know Naughty Dog has a pretty good knowledge of the Cell processor in the PS3 and there's probably some hardcore code in there that just wouldn't translate over well. There's some video on it on the Uncharted 2 disc, they're very much a coveted studio for Sony so I don't see them even pondering a port.

Yeah it really doesn't much to get a quality PC if you buy the parts yourself.

Probably less than the Xbox One.

Unless you're pirating Windows, buying zero peripherals, and using budget parts. Even then, you'd be struggling to get in under £429.

Both these new consoles actually bode well for anyone going with an AMD based PC, seeing as they're both using them in their consoles....should port over fairly well.

Missed the press conference but I'll watch it back in the morning. I can already tell from what people have been saying that Sony has won, doubt Nintendo will come up with anything groundbreaking.

Us Europeans get screwed over royally though for both the Xbox One and PS4 though.

The launch titles are what's going to sway it for me, I'm an Xbox fan but £429.99 is a lot of money, clearly Microsoft think we're all well off. And hopefully this 'rumor' of games being £50-55 is not true, because I couldn't afford to do that. Especially as it's more difficult to sell old games these days plus the fact Microsoft are making it a lot more difficult to sell them.

All the best games are coming out on both consoles, the exclusives look very meh.

Both look more or less the same graphically (still not as good as pc ) and this ill go with what my mates get.
