Computer games.

Surely at least a couple here know of Total Biscuit, the popular PC game critic. He's given an update on his cancer situation and its not good. :(

Gutting that. I’m not a massive fan of reviews but im a fan of TB because it was always fun to watch him review a game that you knew was going to be seriously bad or just under deliver.

Obviously his stuff has been terminal and it’s only gotten worse but it is really sad to see that it’s to the point that he has to walk away. Hope his quality of life is a good one despite the rubbish he deals with.

Currently playing: Final Fantasy XV (PS4 Pro). Really enjoying it, the visuals and soundtrack are incredible and the action-style combat system is terrific.

Having a 3-month old Daughter means gaming time is seriously limited so it'll probably take me years to complete!
I'm really into the JPRG games, I always got stuck into the character / weapon customisations and stories.

Also just ordered the following as they looked smart - dunno if anyone has checked these out and could tell me what they're like?

Just Cause 3: Gold Edition
Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness
Secret of Mana
Final Fantasy Type: 0 HD

I'm looking forwards to the remake of Final Fantasy VII, with the same creative team on board it should hopefully be MEGA.

Never played Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core as I never owned a PSP - I hope they bring a remastered version out as that's meant to be cool. Anyone played that particular installment?

Ff15 is good but side quests are herenderson

I've played it a few times, never managed to kill anyone tho! What' with the whole wall building stuff?

Haven't got my head round that either yet, but was playing with a couple mates and a random yesterday, and he was really good - had a few keys bound to shortcuts for throwing up walls etc. It seems it's all about building them quickly to protect yourself and get up above your opponent.

If you're interested in playing have a look for me in game - kaibayashi is my in-game name. @Dylan

Damn, I remember when he first disclosed he was ill I was regularly watching his stuff around that time but stopped not long after. He was upbeat at the time and sure it wasn't too serious and here we are a few years later at this point. Good luck TB.

Just finished 2064: Read only memories. I hate that 8-bit art style but the story and VAs were really great. Its worth the $5 its sold for on PS4 sales.

Currently playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2. About 15 hours into it. A solid 8/10 that would be a 9/10 if it had a functional world map.

Get Persona 5, its the best game I ever played. Gameplay, story, music, graphics/art style, quality VAs etc etc. Its all there.

Trails of Cold Steel 1-2 was amazing. Both are all time greats.

if you have a WiiU and like customization, then Xenoblade Chronicles X, granted you'll sink 140hours into it.

Crisis Core is excellent.

Another inexpensive game: Valkyria Chronicles Remastered. Its my all time favorite strategy RPG. Was the best RPG of the PS3 era (the remastered PS4 part of it didn't really improve much because it looked so damn good in the 1st place).

FF15: dunno, the dialogue is so much more improved over the FF13 trilogy (I did really like 13 and 13-2 tho) and the story seemed pretty well done. I just couldn't get into the battle system (I couldn't follow what I was doing and the play control was absolutely putrid) and stopped about 1/2 way. maybe I'll pick it up again.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness - oh honey no. Star Ocean games are dead, its almost worse than SO4.
-SO3 remastered is quite good though (despite the awful ending) and worth the $15
-as far as SO4: the last hope goes, Ima just going to leave this scene here

People tell me the original Secret of Mana is better, I believe them, its just I never really liked the original in the 1st place.

That was proper hard to read. Such a shame as he gave me and my brothers some good laughs. They're much bigger gamers than me and watched a lot more of his stuff but he really laid it all out there.
