Computer games.

After playing Dark Souls 1 and 2 for a combined totally of about an hour and not getting it, and Bloodborne for a few hours and sort of getting it but not really, I finally gave Dark Souls 3 a chance and... I totally get it now. It's one hell of a game.

I started as Deprived with no armor and a wooden club and got my arse handed to me over and over again, but I finally got the mindset of that being the point of it. It's like a computer game version of "Simon Says" in a way - you have to watch for a pattern, memorise it and execute a plan in accordance with what you've learned.

Going to have to go back and give the others another chance after I'm done with this one now. I still have little clue what I'm doing but I have armour now so woohoo!

Gone back to Horizon Zero Dawn.

And the break away has made me appreciate it much much more.

What a game.
I just got The Frozen Wilds and went back on this weekend. I'd missed it so much. I hadn't done this before but I used override on a Thunderjaw and sat back and watched him batter the other one.

Killing cocky snipers makes me so happy

I mean, he was just standing there which was poor from him, but Junkrat's effective ability to one shot with grenade and mine at close range just reeks of a low skill cap hero, which is incredibly frustrating to play against.
