Just won the second division in 2010 on CM01/02 with Norwich after signing Roberto Carlos(37) and Del Pierro(35) on a "free". Just threw my transfer budget as signing on fees
Found a boss little mobile game if anyone is interested.
Battlejacks it's called. A card collecting game where the combat is blackjack, 21 and under. It's surprisingly deep with ability synergy and stuff so it's not a case of pick 4 cards and level them up.
The game is quite generous as well. It's energy based for turns like a lot of other games but I still have like 100 more than my capacity for playing it as a mobile game. If I spent hours then perhaps I wouldn't but yeah, quite a deep generous game with the paywall seemingly quite high based on my experience so far.
Lads, some kid's Christmas gifts advice needed. Kid is asking for an Xbox one S, which being an arlarse dad I'm not minded to get him as we have a wiiU which seems boss to me (and him tbf, we enjoy playing games together on it). How-ever - Is it the case that the wiiU is basically obsolete wrt new games being released? Think I read that Zelda was the last one developed for it?
If this is the case then perhaps something new is in order. Just wondering how future proof an XBox one S is - I see there's already an XBox one X, so does that mean the S is getting binned in 6 months time or something like that?

It is and it isn't. As I say the paywall is quite high , which is to be expected from any free game. I've been playing it for a week and I've always had something to do and always earning good rewards. The clan based thing gives you currency to buy more stuff in itself and there is a friend's system also where it gives you access to other players top cards to use in your deck. Loads off different events , I count at least 5 including PvP (which is still against the computer) and loads of different ways to earn stuff for free, 2 chests plus unlockable plus quests and story chests etc. Even the gems are generous, I've spent a fair bit of gems in the game and I haven't really lost any as I get as much back through free chests and rewards.I don't think so. You used the word 'synergy' to describe it.
Also, still sounds kinda like P2W to me.
That makes perfect sense, but doesn't the newer nintendo swich take cartridges, breaking back-compatibility with the wiiU? I don't really have a grasp of the console landscape, but that seems a good example of a major company telling existing customers to do one and buy something new for not especially compelling reasons. Would quite fancy a new nintendo thing as I like splatoon a lot, but if the kid wants an Xbox...Pretty sure every game developed for Xbox One X will be easily playable on the Xbox One S as well. They'll just have more "frames per second" on the X, so what console you buy shouldn't be a big deal imo. It would surely backfire on Microsoft if they suddenly stopped releasing games to the Xbox One versions the majority of their customers own!

Rooney IF card on fifa this week
New PUBG map is pretty sweet, brings new life to the game.
