Were gagging for Newcastle to equalise in the second half.

Commentators are generally gash, they love going with the narrative & justifying poor refereeing.

With that penalty given to Brighton for VAR, one of the commentators was saying it was just an accident. Then as the review was going on, all of a sudden he’s saying “he’s fouled him!”, “got to be a penalty”. Apparently they hear the refs microphones which probably helps them out with commentary, but to just change their opinion to be in line with what’s happening is complete crap

That was Dowie an absolute cretin of a player and commentator. Nearly sparked a riot when Northern Ireland played the Republic all those years ago, never liked him since.
