Just remiscising about a pure comedy gold thread that happened quite a while ago on here and just wondering if anyone remembers it? It was that long ago I can't remember the exact details of how it began, how it happened etc so sorry if I get some stuff wrong.
Does anyone remember the thread were a blue on here made a fake profile on plenty of fish pretending to be a female red? (I think it was POF anyway!) And then some kopite hounded them with messages, some weirdo wearing Liverpool tops in all of his pictures and had YNWA in his profile name etc? Anyway, the blue on here went along with it all, and with the help and advice of fellow blues on here started talking to this person. Happened for about a week, talking back and forth with GOT having its almighty input. To cut a long story short, they asked the red to meet for a drink in Matthew Street on the Saturday night ... but he had to meet in his Liverpool top. Just imagine a Liverpool fan, in the middle of Matthew Street, wearing his Liverpool top, thinking he's going to have the date of his life with a female red. I'm pretty sure some people on here actually walked past the person laughing. There was also a website with a live feed webcam of Matthew Street, loads on here were all watching this webcam intensely waiting to spot this Liverpool shirt waiting in the middle of Matthew Street, scenes on here when he turned up.
Those were the days. Honestly all week I was glued to that thread, liteterally couldn't stop crying it was that funny. Long live that thread wherever you are ... Comedy gold on GOT
