What a team eh , and "gentleman" Jack Taylor refereeing.
Just a nipper at the time but great memories still.

Thats the best kit out of the lot too , plain and understated....Blue socks and all !

My old fella reckoned the last ten minutes were the longest of his Everton life after we went 3-2 up,Wednesday were bombing us with crosses,Westie was carrying a long standing knee injury and they knew it and he was struggling to deal with them,I met Gordon in hospital years later and he was laughing as he told me it was the longest ten minutes of his life too
