Clubs who will shine/struggle

So not who will win and who will get relegated, but who do you think will perform above expectations, and who do you think will struggle to meet their expectations?

For me, the shiners:

Chelsea - Hazard and Oscar - just great signings, and with Drogba gone Torres can get back to his best. I'd be surprised if they didn't finish top 3.

Everton - Our squad looks boss

West Ham - With Carroll, Jarvis and Benayoun I think they will easily escape the drop

Swansea - Some say they have been weakened, but with their new manager, and Hernandez in the team they will probably be just as good as last season.

And the strugglers:

Arsenal - No huge signings on deadline day despite having the money, yes they have Podolski, Giroud and Cazorla - but top 4 will be the limit once again for them.

Liverpool - With Rodgers I thought Liverpool looked strong, but once again some clueless decisions with transfers will just lower their position in the table. If Suarez gets injured or sent off they are in trouble. They will be lucky to beat Everton/Newcastle in the league this summer.

Southampton - Just havn't seen anything from them that makes me think they will avoid the drop

QPR - Alot of players signed, so most will expect them to stay up, but with Hughes in charge - I can see them going down.

Aston Villa - Lambert should have stuck with Norwich

Expectations change -and the more deluded the fans the more unrealistic expectations can be so it's hard to know where to begin.

Arsenal - Look unable to compete with the Manc clubs and Chelsea. Could seriously find themselves out of the CL
Newcastle - Europe will drain them, small squad etc may mean they will do less this year.
The RS - 2 senior strikers neither of whom is prolific.

Shiners:

Chelsea, done some great business during summer.

Everton, done some great business during summer.

Also agree on Swansea, de Guzman and Hernandez won't weaken any team.

Strugglers: Arsenal and the neighbours from hell.

Swansea's bubble may burst but so far Laudrup has made some really intelligent signings so you never know.

Sunderland will have a good spell. Fletcher is never worth £15m or whatever but he's not as bad as people think and they've got AJ and Sessegnon.

I think Arsenal will click and be ace. People are silly to be writing them off. They looked so weak last year and everyone wrote them off but they came back. Two 0-0 draws aren't nearly as worrying as an 8-2 defeat, and they have a more balanced squad now. They just need Giroud to get a respectable return and the likes of Podolski, Gervinho and so on to chip in.

I wouldn't expect Liverpool to struggle, the deal with the devil will see them continually fight.

I think Villa will struggle, and the likes of Wigan and a suprise like Southampton.

I'd love us to do well, I'm hopeful of a top 6 finish with some bedding in for the new lads.

Thing is, its a weaker squad than last year for Liverpool, smaller too isn't it? Only signing that looks quality for me is Joe Allen, but getting rid of Carroll and Adam is a move they will probably regret - especially as they have to get through the Europa League with that squad aswell.

They will probably strengthen quite alot in January though

They have signed Sahin as well as playin Sterling more, they are ok. It's up front the may struggle, only two recognised strikers?

Sahin worries me. If he can play like he did at Dortmund he'll make Joe Allen look like Nigel Reo-Coker.

But he'll never stay permanently and at the end of the day their problem has been finishing moves off, and being clinical. Suarez is not clinical in this league, and Borini doesn't look all that. They need... well, a Jelavic.

It'll be tough for Liverpool. If you look at their central midfield, Adam has gone and Lucas is out injured for a couple of months. If they had Gerrard of old you could see them muddling through, but he's nowhere near that player any more. Henderson is useless and with Rogers offering him as a makeweight for Dempsey it's clear he doesn't rate him.

Puts a lot of pressure on Allen to come good. Maybe Joe Cole will return in some form, but you have to say going forward they look weak.
