Death does come to us all yeah but no one should go before there time on something that could be prevented. We need to do a better job to look after are old an vulnerable if that means the young an healthy can’t go out till we get a better hold on this that is what it should be. We all want to see the country back to normal we want to see kids going back to school.
I just want to see all this when the time is right An the infection an death rate is low. We don’t want kids going to school catching it giving it to the grandparents an when they die people thinking o well they was old anyway. The old still contribute so much they should be cherished an not seen as expendable to get the country back up an running.
We do need a exit strategy but the government needs to do a better job than it has been. We was late in to lockdown we don’t want to be to early out of it.
I can agree with much of this. I'm.old but young people under 40 are hardly affected. They should be able to carry on with their lives and make the money so taxes can be paid to fund pensions NHS etc. If my grand kids went back to work I would be still be seeing them but observe social distancing. I won't lock myself away more deaths from road traffic accidents. Should I give up driving or walking on a pavement. There is a chance you may still get covid but hopefully not. You as a person have to decide if you want to take that chance. People are saying I want people to die. I have never said that and I have saved a lot of people in my job. Not a hero just get paid to do that.
The government response has been criminal but we all know the review into it after this is over will be a whitewash.
I can understand if people have an underlying condition who are scared of this virus. I may have myself but not had my results yet as all cancer stuff was cancelled months ago.
That's my view. I don't see an enemy in anyone with different views cos that's is what today was all about. Freedom of expression..
