Give the lad a chance ffs. If he isnt good enough then chelsea can send him somewhere else, but maybe just maybe he needs more than 10 minutes of a game to actually have an impact.

So yeah, give the lad a chance to show if he is good enough or not. I can guarantee he will come good for one club before he is 25.

Maybe he hasn't had much game time because Bobby doesn't rate him now he's seen him up close.

That may well be the case mate. I'm not saying he is a top player or a terrible one.

just think people basing what they see so far as the whole player is ridiculous to be honest. Hell martinez may have just been trying to get him to fit in and feel comfortable in the team before he gets thrown out in the deep end. We really dont know.

Weird really, when I saw him at the world cup I thought he looked very nifty and the kind of winger we could find useful. But he's seemed so lightweight and generally poor when he's played for us.

heard he also only completed 40% of his passes which is about 30% more than i have seen him complete for us but it still tells you all you need to know about him

In a team like ours who just pass for the sake of passing having a winger who cant pass and gets knocked off the ball easily he is near useless to martinez' system
