Hardly a surprise when 3/4 of the defence were over 32 that another year later of them losing pace that they look worse off for it. The 3 of them are not up to the standard anymore and it should be obvious to anyone with eyes.

Rooney cannot play up front on his own. He has no pace to run the channel.

i have never seen a team consistently lose every 50/50 tackle they go in for, to add to that they are incapable of making simple passes,Baines is finished, Williams is just [Poor language removed] and i don't see anything changing over the next few months with these players, we may well be entrenched in the bottom 3 by the time January comes around

Might have been nice to try not lining up 4-3-3 again, or putting McCarthy in, or Williams, or suggesting that blasting the ball high to our tiny wingers was a good idea.

If we lost, fine, but where's the ambition? Why not try something a bit different
