It actually makes kind of sense. Besic has been invisible since his yellow and he can get some rest.

Yes, it was a wise move. But I disagree that he was invisible actually I think he did quite well and disciplined after that yellow: left no room for Hazard. Actually it was good to see him stalking, it's something he does I think the best at least in Europe. No fancy tackles just silent pressure.
