Cheese on Toast

Have gone back to Red Leicester. Mature (though it is not really) Cheddar does not melt well. Good tomatos need to be added but Red Leicester is the perfect cheese for toast.....discuss.

Cheese on toast is basically your national dish.

I now eat Tesco Lactose free cheddar cheese for diabetes purposes.

All cheese on toast is made a little bit better by a thin spread of butter under the cheese
I would favour a strong Cheddar or crumbly Lancashire.
Thinly sliced onion under the cheese can sometimes hit the spot.

No cheese on toast option. Important to be able to choose. Poll essential, but controversy difficult to stir up.

Do not waste good cheese on toast on kopites, unless they are close relations, when it may be unavoidable. You can give them very mild cheddar, cheese spread or spray cheese in a can as they are not very sophisticated.

Decent shout this. Red Leicester gets overlooked on its excellence for cheese on toast.

Was out drinking way too late last night (which for me was 10:30pm). Came home and partner and kiddo were asleep. I put slices of Brie on a flour tortilla along with pepperoni. Microwaved it for 2 minutes and ate it. Don't do this, please.
