Not interested in investigating the difference, but what’s important here is over half of KDH is from set plays. Which does matter, but we can find someone to take a corner and he’s not actually good at it. Open play is where we stink.

On that we can agree. Personally id rather find a better partner for Garner long term than Gueye. We never control games.

I'd like to see him get more minutes when our better players are on the pitch, not to replace them as a sub, or get minutes when they are injured.
Kdh alongside garner with alcaraz as a 10. Or garner as a 6 with kdh and alcaraz as 8's.

This is Alcaraz. Its lovely he'll try to be progressive, but the execution sucks. Utterly pointless, thus an idea ball at best.

But you are comparing a player at 31 with expertise confidence, with top players around and the starting spot assured.
At 23 Bruno was sucking big time in Udinese and Sporting.

It shouldn't be a revelation that when you play a CM at CM he'll do better than when out of position.

Idea balls are the best, It's become a stat of it's own reciently, love an idea ball me.

Strangely enough, if our better players are on the pitch to my mind that means there's even less reason to be using him
