2025/26 Charly Alcaraz

He's seen himself already lose his spot to someone we spent big money on who he is going to see as worse than him (whether you agree or not, he's sitting in his house tonight saying to whoever that he's better than KDH). I fully expect him to be at Real Betis or Fiorentina by the end of next summer. The level he's going to have to sustain for us to accept defeat on that other deal is probably not realistic.
He would get a game more if he didn't stroll about like he is smoking a cuban all the time. We have had too makeshift things recently in regards to the team (injuries, lack of signings) but even now with Dibling giving us more balance, he is never going to be more than a bench player, whether thats here or anywhere else imo. He has been to Italy once before and it didn't work and he was back in South America before long because nobody else wanted him. For me this is Evertonians doing that Evertonian thing of massively overrating a player, we are the worst for it by a mile.

Possibly, yeah he could well be thinking that but.. This is the first time in years we have a squad able to be rotated. We now have options, Alcaraz will get game time but it's upto him to train hard, force his way back in to Moyes thinking, I think that will apply to every player we have currently. Every other good side have these problems, it was about time we have too.
If he doesnt like it, well.... 🤧

Why's that then?

Who would he play ahead of at 10 or 8?

He's not better than Ndiaye, Alcaraz or Grealish. Nor is he better than Gana.

Also, if youre going with a 10 rather than an anchor and 2 CMs he's not adding balance in the middle.

When he's been used as a 10 he's been the most effective attacker on the pitch.

All of that is your opinion and the only person that seems to agree with you is big oil which says it all tbh. You just have a cob on because your latest player of the month has been dropped, maybe you should be asking Moyes rather than taking potshots at the player. Its a squad game and I'm sure he will get games at some point. Also there is no way that Alcaraz has been more effective than Illy, that's a crazy shout imo. I reckon opposition defenders would be far more bothered about playing against him than they are about playing against Alcaraz.

I agree i feel like hes a luxury player but the catch is there's no luxury.

"Its a squad game"

So you agree that KDH shouldnt be in the 11 then?

KDH shouldn't be in the side ?? What games are you watching... He sprays the ball left or right accurately , Doesn't shirk.. Never hides...looks for a forward pass rather than back to Pickers, Been an absolute baller for me. I love the dynamism he has given this team. We just need a fast running RB to fully unlock his options. One of the signings of the summer !!!
(for me at least)

Well, he's not a 10.

I'd have any of Grealish, Ndiaye, Alcaraz and probably Dibling over him.

Then behind we use 2 CMs. The rumour is that we're signing a 6.

So, where does he start?

Cracking player who will be used on a rotation basis as will Grealish, Ndiaye, Dibling and Dewsbury-Hall. It'll be three from five behind the striker. Any sensible manager will use those wisely to get them all up to match fitness and sharpness and that'll mean rotation.

No mate, he's shaping up to be the next boo boy.

We don't give young players a chance, we can't wait to hound them out of the club.

I really like him, £12m is bargain in today's market.

But looking at this thread, there's already people who'll be gutted if he does well.

There's fans who hate our own players more than they love Everton. This place is the worst for it.
