I can't make my mind up on this one you know

He is having a great season, that's very true. Was he deemed a bit of a failure at Rangers? I don't know, I'm actually asking a real question there. Can't tell if he's having a "Steve Sidwell at Reading" season? I really don't think he is, but something keeps bringing me back to thinking that way

As the GOT says above, would he get in our side? If I was to name my starting XI including him in our squad, then its a no, but he would improve the squad's depth, that's a given....

I just don't think we need a player just to improve the squad as a whole, we need someone in who's going to improve on our first XI. And if we've got to pay money for him.....can't we be tight again and do what we did with Beckford?

He's left footed right?

Maybe Moyes fancy's him on the left?

The fleet footed Adam on the wing...doesn't sound right somehow.

He's a good player, no question. But we have string pullers...when they want to demonstrate it.

Lump EVERTHTING on a top class finisher...that should be the strategy in this transfer window.

We can agree on that..

I was just trying to figure why Adam is even being considered.

Definitely all in the forward line. I'd love for Saha and Beckford to see us through, but I'd be amazed if Saha stays fit all season

Think its a testament to Adam really, he does appear to be having a good season, and Moyes' brother is his agent (unless I've fallen for a great myth there) so maybe that's why their putting 2 and 2 together and getting pineapples on pizzas

An odd one this, as although he has been outstanding for Blackpool this year but with our (lack of) budget and current needs there's no way he should be considered an essential signing right now.

As Mr Alio says, he wouldn't get into our 1st choice XI and its hard to see what qualities he would bring that we dont already have in our midfield, as given his lack of pace, surely he'd have to play centrally?

Not a winger too slow he is like a bigger fatter bily

OMG! I agreed with you! Spot on.

Tortoises think Charlie Adam is slow.

He's a one-trick pony. It's an oh so sweet trick, but still one trick. There have to be better players, and players who would better fit what Everton need, out there.

Per the article: "Pulling the strings alongside Marouane Fellaini at Goodison Park, Adam would free up Mikel Arteta and Tim Cahill in the final third".

I think we'd have to look at changing shape and formation with the differing talents that Adam would bring compared to Pienaar. Adams has a truly sweet left foot. In the games I've watched of Blackpool, I've been very impressed. But he's not like for like obviously.

I think he's boss, tore the RS apart last week. Could see him being a success down the left striking up a tandem with Baines, or as the article says playing center mid allowing Arteta to play on the wing. If Moyes rates him I'm doubly sure.

Would be made up if this came off.
